COP Youth Internship Program
The CCECJ offers BIPOC youth the chance to get a foothold in the environment and climate change sector by providing mentoring and training opportunities, and by sending selected young people to the COP.
CCECJ provides opportunities for BIPOC youth to “get their foot in the door” to the environment and climate change sector by providing them with mentorship and training opportunities through the coalition and at other environmental and climate change organizations, as well as sending select youth to select annual Conferences of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP). Read the experience of past interns at COP here on page 6. Please contact our Project Coordinator at sarah.k@ccecj.ca to get involved.

Bill C-226
This national action campaign is being led by the CCECJ. Bill C-226, if it becomes legislation, will be an effective tool for addressing environmental racism in Indigenous, Black, and other racialized communities across Canada.
Coalition Bi-Monthly Meetings
CCECJ aims to create a sense of belonging to an environmental and climate justice movement. We meet every two months to exchange information on the coalition’s products and activities, listen to guest speakers and share all relevant information relating to environmental justice.
